In all Freya's art there is a single thread, one that slips through solitude and loneliness, yet ties back to the infinity. The trees to the soil, the planets to the cosmos, and the eyes to the soul and the hidden mind. The body parts too, alone in her drawings, juxtaposed against the white canvas, yet belonging to the rest of the anatomy, and inevitably to the "whole" and never ending story/cycle that is our life; connectedness to the infinity itself. We cannot be without the rest. We can only be in relation to something else.

Even though Freya's figurative paintings and all her objects seem to be standing there, lonely, floating, they all belong to a greater body, hence representing her soul, at once independent and free spirited, yet attached and connected to the things she finds important in her life.
